Dr. Karuparthy—or Dr. K to his patients—is a dedicated physician who has committed years of training to the most advanced pain control techniques available. His goal is to go beyond standard pain treatment methods by applying the T.I.P.S.® protocol, a unique blend of Eastern and Western medicine for outstanding results. Dr. K. wants to work with you on the development of a treatment plan made just for you.

Dr. K. is also an accomplished teacher, researcher and leads a variety of medical programs and initiatives that are dedicated to pain management and training of new medical residents and fellows.  

Mosali Reddy, M.D.


Dr. Reddy is our visiting physician who comes in twice a week to see patients. He brings with him over 30 years of experience and a kind and wonderful personality. He has been practicing pain management for several years.

Surendra Makkena M.B.B.S., D.A.

Research Coordinator

Research Coordinator, at IPCA he makes sure our pain clinic has no pain.. Before his move to the USA, he was a practicing anesthesiologist in India with focus on pain management and intensive care. Dr. Makkena is very detail oriented and reliable, and his contribution keeps our clinic running like a well-oiled machine.

Ramadan Karanezi, M.D. 

Medical Assistant


Karanezi has been a Medical Assistant at Integrative Pain Centers of America since 2012. Dr.Karanezi practiced family medicine in Kosovo from 2003 to 2005, and then was a resident of pediatric surgery from 2005 to 2011 at the Kosovo University Clinical Center in Pristine. 

Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant by the St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants. Certified Instructor for ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).

Dolores (Lola) Garza, NCMA. 

National Certified Medical Assistant

Dolores graduated from Brown Mackie College and obtained her Certification for Medical Assistant in 2011 . She has been a NCMA at Integrative Pain Centers of America since March 2011 and is presently enrolled in the Associates Degree in Nursing (RN) program at Black Hawk College. She helps with coordinating the clinical and administrations sides of IPCA to help keep the clinic running smoothly as possible.

Stefanie Brandenburg, NCMA

National Certified Medical Assistant

Stefanie graduated from Kaplan University in 2013 with her Associates degree in applied health science for medical assisting. She has been employed at the Integrative Pain Centers of America since February of 2014, after completing a 3 month externship program at the clinic. She is currently enrolled at Black Hawk College for pre-requisite classes to begin the nursing program in the fall of 2017. She coordinates clinical and administrative tasks to help with patient flow so the clinic runs smooth.
